The Summer Premiere was held on Thursday, July 24th with Discovery Channel Celebrity Chef Nathan Lyon, from A Lyon in the Kitchen, which airs every Monday and Wednesday at Discovery Health.

He was joined by Laura Avery, Supervisor of the Santa Monica Farmers Market and host of the Market Report during KCRW's 89.9 Good Food Program.Special Thanks to Steve Glenn, CEO of LivingHomes for providing an inside perspective about Green Building and sharing both his time and amazingly beautiful home!

All guests had the wonderful opportunity to privately tour one of the first LEED Platinum Certified Homes in the U.S. - LivingHomes.

All four Santa Monica markets are Certified Farmers' Markets (CFMs).  They are organized and managed by the City of Santa Monica for the mutual benefit of all who enjoy them.  An estimated 900,000 shoppers visit the markets every year.  Collectively, they provide customers year-round with a selection of fresh, seasonal produce that is pre-eminent among market programs in the state.
